Give to our Diocese
Your financial contribution to the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains equips us to tangibly support our churches and missions, helping to spread the Gospel both at home and abroad.
What does an Anglican diocese do with its funds?

Spread the Gospel to the Nations
We aim to “go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). As part of that mission, we provide renewable funding to help parishes and ministries that are intentionally crossing cultural, racial, and ethnic boundaries to reflect the diversity and yet unity of Christ's Body.
Whether a parish is creating spaces of welcome and discipleship for non-majority communities, partnering with a local parish to foster genuine integration of diverse communities, or expanding Anglican witness among immigrant neighbors, we seek to come alongside them in these efforts. Visit our Cross-Cultural Ministry Grant page for more information.
However we can, both provincially and abroad, we will share Christ and his saving work with the world.

Empower Local Parish Ministries
We use our funds to support the work of every parish in our diocese. No church should feel alone as they seek to grow, mature, and serve their congregations and communities. The DRM comes alongside local churches both financially and tangibly, assisting each congregation’s efforts in ministry, outreach, training, accountability, and discipleship.
Specifically, we use the funds at our disposal to empower healthy but under-resourced parishes to overcome local outreach ministry obstacles to build on their strengths and opportunities. From the creation of food banks to the galvanizing of youth ministries, these funds help each parish become more invested and involved in the life of its community.

Support the Global Church
Since the DRM belongs to a GAFCON Province, which is part of the Global Anglican Communion, our diocese seeks to support GAFCON and other provinces whenever we are called and able to do so. We have historically used our funds to support the Diocese of Byumba, furthering their efforts at economic stability, pastoral care, and Christian witness in Rwanda.
We have also strategically invested in the leadership of the Global Anglican Communion, thus supporting and serving Anglicans around the world and expressing the DRM's desire to participate meaningfully in the life and mission of the wider Church.
For more information on our global giving, see our 2026 Midyear Grant Report.

Safeguard the Vulnerable
Our diocese works tirelessly to safeguard children, youth, and vulnerable people in each and every parish. We believe that our diocese should foster communities in which every person can worship, serve, and grow in faith, free from any threat of harm.
As part of this effort, we employ credentialed professionals who train, advise, and hold accountable the parishes in our province. We offer regular trainings, check and enforce vital safeguarding deadlines, and facilitate the canonical process for handling reports of misconduct whenever they are submitted to the diocese.
Safeguarding ensures that victims are believed, supported, and referred to qualified care, and that the Church responds with both pastoral tenderness and institutional accountability. For more information, visit our “Safeguarding” page.

Disciple and Support Local Clergy
Your financial contribution equips us to support the growth and spiritual wellbeing of clergy in our province.
We help facilitate and fund sabbaticals for clergy in our province. We offer mentorship opportunities, praying for and supporting rectors who are experiencing burnout. We coordinate annual retreats for clergy in our diocese. We also offer regular trainings and opportunities for further education to deacons and presbyters within our diocese.
We prioritize helping clergy grow theologically, spiritually, and emotionally for the flourishing of their ministries. This is accomplished by supporting parishes, as noted above—but it is also accomplished by supporting the shepherds and servants who are working within each parish. You can view more information on these aspects of our work via our “Clergy Care,” “Clergy Formation,” “Prayer,” “College of Deacons,” and “Rector Sabbatical Grants” webpages.

Train and Ordain New Clergy
The raising up of qualified, theologically-sound, and servant-hearted clergy is essential to the health of local parishes and to the equipping of the saints for God’s good work.
Our diocesan School for Ministry exists to support and facilitate the work of identifying and helping to form new clergy through a process called “credentialing.” This process seeks to ensure that clergy are well prepared theologically, practically, and spiritually. The diocese uses funds at its disposal to employ experienced, credentialed theological teachers who can disciple and assess ordinands along their credentialing journey. For more about our credentialing process, visit our “School for Ministry” homepage.
