  • Jan 12-16, 2026 - God willing, the College of Bishops consent to the election of the Suffragan Bishop-Elect

  • Tue, Feb 3 - Consecration of Suffragan Bishop-Elect during Opening Eucharist of the 2026 Gathering, Denver, CO (Feb 3-5, Tue - Thur)

  • Clergy Delegates and Lay Delegates. The vote will be by order, with the clergy order and lay order voting separately until both agree.(DRM Canons, Title 1, Canon 4).

    CLERGY Delegates: All active, canonically resident DRM clergy under Bishop Ken’s authority for a period of at least 6 months (as of April 4, 2025) are clergy delegates and eligible to vote (DRM Canons, Title I, Canon 2).

    Clergy that are inactive or retired, licensed from another diocese, or were not canonically resident in the diocese for 6 months (before April 4, 2025) are not able to vote.

    LAY Delegates: Lay Delegates from DRM churches or mission works that served at the 2025 Synod are delegates and eligible to vote (DRM Canons, Title I, Canon 2.3.B.4).

    Rectors may submit lay delegate changes by Sept 12 here. (See Important Suffragan Delegate and Voting Information email for more details.) Questions, email Anna.

    *Note: Churches who have withheld the tithe of 10%, or whose Parish Council has failed to maintain subscription to the Constitution and Canons will be allowed a seat in the Synod but may not vote. (DRM Canons, Title I, Canon 2.3.C)

  • Delegates are invited to join a Zoom meeting on the following dates to pray for the vote. This will be a time of corporate prayer as well as a time to learn about how voting will work and to address any technical issues in advance of the vote. Attendance is optional, but tech support will not be available on the day of the election, so we strongly encourage all to participate. RSVP Here. All are welcome to join in this time of prayer and preparation.
