The Rev. Canon Dr. Matt Burnett

Most importantly, I am married to Lauren (since 1983) and father to 3 sons: Chris, Jeremy, and Alex. I am originally from Dallas, Texas and attended Texas A&M University, where I played soccer and received undergraduate and graduate degrees (whoop!) in Health Education and International Health and then Urban and Regional Planning specializing in Health and Health Care Systems in Developing Countries.

I went to work for Compassion International. Lauren and I lived in the Dominican Republic; then we and two of our sons lived in Australia. I am deeply grateful and humbled to have also worked with amazing colleagues in another 16 countries. I later founded and served as Owner/President of Knowledge Builders Inc., a small technical training and consulting company.

I am honored to support the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains as the Canon to the Ordinary, and my dream job is my current one: Senior Pastor of Holy Trinity Anglican Church for the last 22 years.

Anna Holsteen

Anna Holsteen has worked for the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains since 2017 as the Diocesan Admin and Clergy Credentialing Project Manager (and formerly as the Safeguarding Coordinator). It is her absolute joy to support churches, clergy, and future clergy, as well as to assist the bishops, DRM staff, and diocese. She is excited to hear and see what God is doing across the DRM!

Anna grew up in Wisconsin, where she met and married her kind, supportive husband Ben and had their two brilliant, beautiful children (daughter and son). They moved to Colorado Springs in 2015, where they attended Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Anna’s background is in secondary Spanish education and teaching, and she homeschooled their kids until grades 8 and 6. She has also worked for the Encyclopaedia of Theology at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where the family currently lives and her husband is pursuing his PhD. Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, playing piano, teaching Godly Play, and being in nature (as often as possible).

The Rev. Casey Bedell

Casey Bedell is the rector of Harbor Anglican in Seattle, WA.

After studying at Texas Tech University, Casey completed his theological
studies at Westminster Theological Seminary and Reformed Theological
Seminary.

Raised on a large farm and ranch outside of Dallas, Texas, he carries rural, agricultural roots in his bones, yet the Lord has called him again and again to serve in the city, from Portland to
Washington, DC, and now Seattle.

He has been married to Jennifer for
almost two decades and they have two delightful boys, Woods and Jack.

The Rev. Shane Copeland

Shane was born in Tucson in 1968. He married Kristine in1993, and they have two adult children and one grandchild. Being with his family and friends is what he enjoys most. He loves to read (especially history), watch the Arizona Diamondbacks, and to be in the wilderness.

Jesus rescued him in early childhood, and he first felt called to the ministry in 5th Grade. After serving four years in the Marines, in the infantry, and then recon, he pursued this call by going to Bible College and seminary. He began pastoral ministry in non-denominational churches. Preaching has always been at the heart of his pastoral ministry.

Reading C.S. Lewis, John Stott and J.I. Packer paved the way for him to become Anglican. In 2008, He planted St. George’s Anglican Church in Phoenix and has been pastoring it ever since. He teaches as an adjunct at Grand Canyon University.

The Rev. Mary Puckett

Old Testament Seminar Facilitator

Mary Puckett serves as the Worship Ministry Coordinator at Wellspring Church in Englewood, Colorado, where she helps cultivate a spirit of reverence and joy in corporate worship. A third-generation Anglican, Mary was ordained to the Office of Deacon in May 2025, a calling that flows from her passion for serving others, rooted in the redemptive love of Christ.
Mary holds a BA in Exercise and Sport Science from East Carolina University and an MEd in Kinesiology from Auburn University. She is currently pursuing her MDiv with a concentration in Old Testament Studies at Denver Seminary, deepening her biblical and theological formation for ministry.
Before entering vocational ministry, Mary spent over a decade coaching soccer, shaping players and coaches of all ages both on and off the field. That same heart for discipleship and formation now animates her work in worship ministry, where she continues to encourage others toward growth, excellence, and devotion to Christ.
The Rev. Dr. Chris Stroup

New Testament Seminar Facilitator

Chris Stroup has served as a priest in the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains since 2020 and is an assisting priest at Restoration Anglican Church in Colorado Springs. He previously served as Pastor of Adult Discipleship at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Colorado Springs).
He holds degrees from Biola University (B.A.), Yale Divinity School (M.A.R.), and Boston University (Ph.D.), and is the author of The Christians Who Became Jews: Acts of the Apostles and Ethnicity in the Roman City.
He previously served as Assistant Editor of New Testament Abstracts and Assistant Research Professor of New Testament at Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry.
Chris currently serves as the President and CEO of Anglican House Publishers. He and his wife, Amy, live in Colorado Springs with their three children.
The Rev. Kevin Leach

Introduction to Anglicanism Seminar Facilitator

Kevin Leach was born and raised in Michigan and taught as a professor for 27 years at Northwest University in Washington. He visited Advent Anglican Church (Fr. Aaron Burt, Rector) in Washington in 2015, and having discovered a church home on that first Sunday, he has attended and served in Anglicanism ever since. He was confirmed in 2017.
Kevin has served on the DRM Diocesan Council, and as a lay delegate to DRM Synods, ACNA Provincial Councils, and GAFCON (2018).
Kevin was ordained in 2024 and was elected to a five-year term in 2025 as the alternate clergy delegate from the DRM to the ACNA Provincial Council.
Kevin retired to Montana in 2023 and now serves as a Deacon at Restoration Anglican Church (Fr. Robert Burns, Rector).
The Rev. Chandler Wiley

Essentials of Anglican Theology Seminar Facilitator

Chandler, his wife Kimmi, and their children moved to Idaho in 2023. For two years, Chandler served as the Associate Rector to Bishop Ben Fischer at Christ the Redeemer in Nampa, Idaho. He is now the planting pastor of Christ The Shepherd in Eagle, Idaho.
Chandler has many years of ministry experience, loves preaching Christ in all of Scripture, skiing, hanging with his family, and the Boston Celtics.
He has a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, and an MDiv from Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City, MO.
Chandler co-hosts a podcast about Anglicanism called Essential Anglican.

The Rev. Ben Clarke

Ben is Rector of Christ Central Anglican Church in Corvallis, Oregon, where he has served since 2023. He grew up in Wales and came to faith in the Lord Jesus as a teenager through the witness of a school friend. He studied theology at the University of St Andrews before teaching in schools in Suffolk and London, and later discerning a call to ordained ministry.
He served his curacy in the Diocese of Oxford and has also taught theology, most recently as a part-time lecturer at Oak Hill Theological College in London. Through these varied contexts, Ben has developed a vision for clergy formation that integrates biblical and theological reflection with the lived realities of pastoral ministry.
Ben is married to Lianna, and they have three children: Isla (11), Rory (8), and Finlay (6). Outside of ministry, he enjoys time outdoors, hiking, swimming in the sea, reading, and the occasional single malt whisky.
The Rev. Luke Davis

Luke H. Davis has served as an assisting priest at the Church of the Resurrection in Chesterfield, Missouri, since June 2021. He teaches New Testament and Church History at Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis.
Luke graduated with a history major from Covenant College and an M. Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary.
He has also published nearly twenty books in various genres, including crime fiction, epic fiction, Christian ethics, church history, and Bible study.
Luke and his wife Christi make their home with their family in St. Charles, Missouri.
The Rev. Lisa Elmers

Lisa Elmers is a deacon at Church of the Advent in Denver, CO where she—along with her husband and two kiddos—has been a member since 2018.
She has a BA and MA in literature and creative writing, and her passion for Scripture’s literary patterning and life-rearranging theology has shaped Lisa’s lifelong devotion to studying and discipling in God’s word.
The Lord changed Lisa’s life radically when he called her into ordained ministry; she became a deacon in 2023.
As a pastor at Advent, Lisa focuses on soul care and mercy ministries as well as teaching and preaching—all work that’s fueled by her calling as a deacon to equip and send the church to bring God’s love to our neighbors.
The Rev. Dawson Vorderbruegge

Dawson Vorderbruegge is a deacon at All Saints Honolulu. He also works as a campus missionary with Youth For Christ Hawai'i, where he ministers to students at public middle and high schools on Oahu.
He is married with five children, and his wife Marina is expecting their sixth.
